Tattoo Policy

Hello! Thank you for considering me to work with you in bringing a piece to life. To ensure a seamless experience, please review the following policies:

1. Inquiry Submission:

  • Please submit all inquiries through our official channels, such as this website contact form or our shop website at www.kapwatattoo.com

 

2. Right to Refuse Service:

  • As the artist, I reserve the right to refuse service for any reason.

  • I prioritize a positive and respectful environment, and any requests conflicting with this principle may lead to the refusal of service.

 

3. Skin Preparation:

  • Proper skin preparation is essential for optimal tattoo results.

  • Stay hydrated in the days leading up to your session to promote healthy skin.

  • Minimize sun exposure to the tattoo area to prevent sunburn or irritation.

  • Protect the designated area from excessive sun exposure before your scheduled appointment.

 

4. Response Time:

  • I aim to respond to all inquiries at least once a week. 

  • Response times may vary based on the volume of inquiries and the complexity of the requests.

 

5. Consultation Process:

  • If your inquiry aligns with my artistic style and availability, we will schedule a consultation via Zoom or meet in-person if necessary.

  • Inquiries which involve exact references and clear instruction will not require a consultation unless requested by the client.

 

6. Design and Deposit:

  • Upon approval of the design during the consultation, a non-refundable fee may be required.

  • This fee contributes to the overall cost of your tattoo and secures your commitment to the appointment.

7. Appointment Confirmation:

  • Your appointment is considered confirmed upon receipt of the deposit.

  • Any modifications to the design or appointment time must be communicated and agreed upon in advance. Last minute changes may result in rescheduling and a new deposit submission.

8. Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations made less than 2 days prior to the scheduled appointment will result in the forfeiture of the deposit fee.

  • No-shows will result in the loss of the deposit, necessitating a new deposit for future appointments.

9. Pricing and Payment:

  • Pricing is determined based on the size, complexity, and estimated time required for the tattoo.

  • A final quote may be provided during the consultation.

  • Full payment is expected on the day of the appointment.

10. Age Requirement:

  • Clients must be 18 years or older to receive a tattoo.

  • Valid identification is required.

11. Client & Artist Health Status:

  • For the safety of both the artist and client, I will not proceed with the tattoo session if you are actively coughing or exhibiting symptoms of illness.

  • If you are feeling unwell, experiencing symptoms of illness, or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for an infectious disease, please notify me or the tattoo shop as soon as possible.

  • In the event that I, the artist, am unwell or experiencing symptoms of illness, I will notify you and work with you to reschedule the appointment at the earliest convenience.

12. Aftercare Instructions:

  • Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided post-tattoo session.

  • Adhering to these guidelines is essential for optimal healing.
